ENGEL INSERT-special-purpose machines based on standard components
ENGEL INSERT injection molding machines are application-specific combinations of the tried-and-tested technology modules belonging to the standard range of Engel machines. Hydraulic components, injection units and tiebarless clamping units, and also the hardware and software of the Engel machine control systems, are modules which have been designed for Engel´s large-scale series of standard machines. In other words, they are standard modules which undergo continuous further development and improvement.

System family:
To facilitate continuous further development and improvement, the vertical machines manufactured by Engel are equipped with the same control systems as the horizontal machines. All Engel machines feature a uniform user interface with a clear operator prompt for efficient operation. Optional functions and automation components can be readily integrated in the control systems.

Rotary table - with a choice of two or three stations:

Two stations:
The two-station version permits 180° to-and-fro operation, whereby production may take place with either one or two bottom mould halves. With this version, a revolving lead-through coupling for supplying the media to the bottom mould half is not required, but it may be utilized if desired. If the revolving lead-through coupling medium and the core pullers and the cables for the electrical signals may be ducted to the mould via the hollow shaft of the rotary table.

Three stations:
The three-station version permits carousel operation in 120° steps, whereby production may take place with either two or three bottom mould halves. With this version, a revolving lead-through coupling for supplying the media to the bottom mould half is required.
